Hey there, old friends. Joel here. How’ve you all been doing? It’s been foreeeevvvvverrrrrrr since you’ve heard from us, and we’re sorry about that. Ben, Gabe, and myself have been pretty busy in our individual endeavors the last couple of years. Unfortunately none of them have been Fish related, but Fish, and you, remain near and dear to our hearts. We don’t have anything new coming down the ole pipeline in the immediate future, but we are working on how to get some stuff that you all have never seen out there for you to enjoy so stay tuned for that.
Mainly I just wanted to let you all in on what we’ve been up to since you last heard from us. The biggest news is that we are all dads now. So that alone has taken a lot of our time. But aside from trying to raise good kids with a sometimes frighteningly uncertain world laid out before them, we are all still creating things.
Ben has been editing feature length documentaries. One that he co-edited, Accidental Courtesy, lit up the festival circuit and won a ton of awards. You can watch it on Netflix now! He and the Accidental Courtesy team have been working on a follow-up. Watch this space for more info. Ben has also been illustrating, working on some personal projects, and he directed two great thematically-linked videos for the amazingly talented musician known as Auditorium. Check these out!
As for Gabe, well, when he hasn’t been busy running his presidential campaign under the ridiculous alias Pete Buttigieg, he’s been on tv so damn much that I probably don’t have to tell you about it. You probably see him every gd day between commercials and voicing depressed waiters on Nickelodeon’s Casagrandes (Coming soon!). I’m not jealous. Not at all.
Anythehoo, here are some of Gabe’s latest and greatest commerce films. We thought about suing Infinity over over their shot for shot rip off of the Joyride short, but figured we’d let it go.
And finally there’s wittle ole me. I just wrapped up my sixth season as a producer on The Real Housewives Of New York City. I’m about to do a couple episodes of Chrisley Knows Best, which oughtta be a hoot. Then I’m back for season a billion of RHONY.
But what I’m really excited to tell you all about is my new podcast, THE STORYHOLE, which launched in March of this year (2019). If you have the inkling, please check it out wherever you feed your podcast habit. It’s basically like listening to Tumble host a podcast where him and his buddies belly up to the bar and tell stories. Ben and Gabe are sure to pop up as well. Ben already has!
Well, I guess that about covers it. Thanks for checking in on us, and watch this space for hopefully some Fish-related news in the not-so-distant future.
